Financial Boot Camp

To get your financial plan rolling you will need to do some pre-work. You will need to complete the following:

  • Net Worth Statement - A summary of your financial position at a point in time (usually year end).

  • Cash Flow Statement - Captures your income sources, expenses and savings target for a year.

  • List of Financial Goals - A roadmap of how you plan on achieving your goals over the next 1 to 3 years.

Each of these three tasks are linked together. â€‹â€‹â€‹To complete them you can build your own worksheets. Or you can use our Excel workbook. It contains all three of the worksheets you need.

Remember, knowledge is not enough. Action on your part is also required. As you complete each task you will be laying one brick. Think of it as beginning to lay a foundation to your financial house.
